1. Definitions
- “App” means the Board Studio for Jira application available through the Atlassian Marketplace.
- “Licensor” means huminder, the developer and publisher of the App.
- “Customer” or “You” means the entity or individual who installs or uses the App.
- “Atlassian Product” means Jira Cloud and any related Atlassian services with which the App integrates.
- “Evaluation Period” means the free trial period during which You may evaluate the App.
- “License” means the right to use the App as granted under this Agreement.
2. License Grant
2.1 Scope of License
Subject to the terms of this Agreement and payment of applicable fees, Licensor grants You a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Install and use the App within Your Atlassian Product instance
- Access App features according to Your subscription tier
- Configure the App for Your organizational needs
2.2 Restrictions
You shall not:
- Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App
- Reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code
- Rent, lease, loan, resell, sublicense, or distribute the App to third parties
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the App in violation of applicable laws or Atlassian Marketplace policies
- Circumvent any license verification, feature restrictions, or usage limitations
3. Evaluation License
3.1 Evaluation Period
Licensor may offer a free evaluation period allowing You to test the App before purchasing. During the Evaluation Period:
- Full App functionality is available
- No payment is required
- The evaluation is limited to the duration specified on the Atlassian Marketplace
3.2 Evaluation Expiration
Upon expiration of the Evaluation Period, if You do not purchase a paid license:
- The App will transition to Read-Only Mode (see Section 5)
- You must either purchase a license or uninstall the App
4. Paid License
4.1 Subscription Terms
Paid licenses are offered through the Atlassian Marketplace under the billing terms specified therein. Licenses are granted on a subscription basis (monthly or annual) and must be renewed to maintain full functionality.
4.2 License Renewal
If Your paid license expires and is not renewed within any applicable grace period:
- The App will transition to Read-Only Mode (see Section 5)
- All existing configurations and data remain intact
- Full functionality will be restored upon license renewal
5. Expired License Limitations (Read-Only Mode)
When Your evaluation period ends or Your paid license expires without renewal, the App operates in Read-Only Mode with the following limitations:
5.1 Features Disabled Upon Expiration

5.2 Features Retained in Read-Only Mode

5.3 License Expiration Notice
When the license expires:
- A warning banner will be displayed prominently within the App
- The banner includes a direct link to the Atlassian Marketplace for license renewal
- Tooltips on disabled features will indicate the reason for restriction
5.4 Data Preservation
Your data and configurations are never deleted due to license expiration. Upon license renewal or purchase:
- All configurations are immediately restored
- Full functionality resumes without data loss
- No re-configuration is required
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Ownership
The App, including all intellectual property rights therein, is and shall remain the exclusive property of Licensor. This Agreement does not convey any ownership rights.
6.2 Third-Party Components
The App may include third-party software components subject to their respective licenses. Notable components include:
- Atlassian Forge Platform – Subject to Atlassian’s terms
- AtlasKit Components – Subject to Atlassian’s open-source licenses
7. Data and Privacy
7.1 Data Processing
The App processes data within Your Atlassian instance according to:
- Atlassian’s data residency and privacy policies
- The Forge platform’s security model
- Our Privacy Policy
7.2 Data Access
The App accesses only the Jira data necessary for its functionality, including:
- Work items, spaces, and boards within Your configured scope
- User information for assignee and creator display
- Configuration settings stored in Forge Storage
7.3 No External Data Transfer
The App operates entirely within the Atlassian Forge platform. Your Jira data is not transferred to external servers owned or operated by Licensor.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF RESULTS
Licensor does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all configurations.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Licensor’s total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by You for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
- These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, or otherwise)
10. Termination
10.1 Termination by You
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the App from Your Atlassian instance.
10.2 Termination by Licensor
Licensor may terminate this Agreement if:
- You breach any term of this Agreement
- You fail to pay applicable fees
- Required by Atlassian or applicable law
10.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the App immediately ceases
- You must uninstall the App from all instances
- Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive (Sections 6, 8, 9, 11)
11. General Provisions
11.1 Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11.2 Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the App and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
11.3 Amendments
Licensor reserves the right to modify this Agreement. Material changes will be notified through the Atlassian Marketplace or within the App. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
11.4 Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
11.5 Assignment
You may not assign this Agreement without Licensor’s prior written consent. Licensor may assign this Agreement freely.
