Horizontal swimlanes create horizontal divisions on your board, organising cards into rows based on a Jira field’s values.
About horizontal swimlanes
Horizontal swimlanes divide the board into horizontal rows. Cards are distributed across rows based on field values.
Add a horizontal swimlane
- In the sidebar, expand Board Structure
- Expand Horizontal swimlanes
- Select Add dimension
- Choose a Jira field (for example, Status, Priority, Assignee)
Cards are immediately organised into rows based on the field values.
